Tasting profile
The 2015 vintage had a deep, nearly inky appearance. Its aromatic profile combined ripe blackberry and dark cherry with spice, leather, tobacco, floral nuances and liquorice. Medium to full in body, it was structured and clearly defined, with juicy dark fruit and underlying acidity carrying freshness through the finish.
The 2016 was described through juicy berry and cherry fruit with a suggestion of tea, a medium body and firm, silky tannins. The 2019 showed blackcurrant, walnut and thyme, fine tannins, medium body and a fresh finish. The 2020 was round and juicy, led by crushed blackberry, with a medium-weight palate and lightly firm structure.
