About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on the reddish soils of the Montello slopes, where the varieties have adapted well.
Vinification
The ripe grapes are harvested by hand in mid-October, placed in wooden crates and taken for processing. Maceration lasts two weeks at 25 °C, extracting vivid colour from the skins, followed by fermentation.
Ageing
After fermentation, the wine rests for up to one and a half years in large 25 hL barrels.
Tasting profile
The aroma combines berries with Eastern spices. The palate is full-bodied and well balanced.
Serving and pairing
Pair with steak, whole roast duck or moderately aged cheeses.
