About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie on the slopes of Montello hill. The soil and sunlight promote phenolic ripeness in the grapes.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested from late September to early October. Traditional vinification includes malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures for 18–20 months in French oak barrels, followed by six months in large wooden casks and a further six months in bottle.
