Fattoria Casisano joins the Tommasi family

The acquisition of Fattoria Casisano marked the fourth generation’s entry into Montalcino. The property covered 53 ha among the area’s quiet hills, surrounded by vineyards and old woodland. Twenty-two hectares were under vine for Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino.

The investment fulfilled a long-held ambition to work in one of Italy’s historically prominent wine territories and extended the family’s viticultural activity from Valpolicella into Montalcino.
