Microzonation, elegance and territorial identity

The 2015 and 2016 vintages established Casisano’s growing international profile, while the 2017 Brunello and 2020 Rosso continued the estate’s development.

Giancarlo Tommasi described a 53 ha property with 22 ha of vineyards, divided at the time among 9 ha for Brunello, 7 ha for Rosso and 6 ha for Sant’Antimo. The south-east-facing vineyards at high elevation provided the foundation for a tailor-made estate organized around microzonation.

Emiliano Falsini described Casisano as a cru within the denomination. His objective was a respectful, minimally invasive form of oenology able to communicate character, elegance, individuality and a close relationship with the territory.
