Tasting profile

The aromas are fruity and persuasive. The palate combines substance with an approachable character and presents an elegant expression of Sangiovese grown in the Ama terroir.

Label / history

Montebuoni is the direct successor to Castello di Ama Riserva and marks the estate’s return to the Chianti Classico Riserva category. Introduced with the 2018 vintage, it was conceived to unite the depth of Castello di Ama San Lorenzo with the drinkability of Ama.
