100 Years of the Chianti Classico Consortium: A Century of Passion and Tradition

On 14 May 2024, the Consorzio Vino Chianti Classico celebrated its hundredth anniversary in Florence. Events at Palazzo Vecchio, Palazzo Uguccioni and Teatro della Pergola combined historical discussions and guided tastings. Castello di Querceto took part as one of the 33 founding families. The centenary revisited the consortium’s work to protect and promote Chianti Classico and renewed its emphasis on quality, territorial identity and sustainable production.
