Chianti Classico Collection 2022
Castello di Querceto participated in the Chianti Classico Collection at Stazione Leopolda on 21–22 March 2022. The estate presented its 2020 Chianti Classico, 2019 Riserva, 2019 La Corte and Il Picchio Gran Selezione, 2017 Cignale and 2016 Vin Santo del Chianti Classico. The event introduced the denomination’s eleven Additional Geographical Units: Greve, Lamole, Montefioralle, Panzano, Radda, Gaiole, Castelnuovo Berardenga, Vagliagli, Castellina, San Donato in Poggio and San Casciano. The subdivision was designed to strengthen communication of origin, identity and territorial distinctions; 180 participating producers were presented under the new geographical framework.
