Cesari Valpolicella Classico Anfora: when the land shapes the future of wine

The 2024 Valpolicella Classico Anfora spent approximately five months in terracotta, with duration designed to vary according to vintage. Terracotta was selected for aromatic neutrality, slow micro-oxygenation and thermal stability, allowing development without toast-derived flavours. The project yielded 1,936 individually numbered bottles, directly referencing Cesari’s foundation year, and positioned amphora as a meeting point between ancient material and controlled modern oenology.
