Lugana Centofilari Cesari: The “White Treasure” of Lake Garda

The southern Lake Garda soils consist of dense, calcareous, stratified clay left by glacial retreat and enriched with mineral salts. The lake moderates temperature, while the Pelér and Ora breezes dry bunches and support gradual ripening. Centofilari is planted principally to Turbiana, complemented by Chardonnay; careful canopy management and harvest selection precede gentle pressing, fermentation at 16°C and three months on the lees. The same vineyard also supplies Cesari’s Bianco Garda and Pinot Grigio Garda projects.
