About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

Barbera from estate-owned vineyards planted on Helvetian soils. These soils contribute structure and elegance to the wine.

Grapes

Barbera.

Ageing

Approximately 16 months in second-use French oak barriques, followed by about 2–3 months in bottle.

Tasting profile

An intense ruby-red colour with violet and purple reflections. The vinous aroma recalls red and black fruits, particularly cherry, plum and blackberry, alongside typical small-berry notes. The palate is full and robust, with red- and black-fruit flavours and a fresh finish.

Serving and pairing

Suitable with cured meats, stuffed pasta, roasted meats and fried dishes.
