About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from bush vines averaging around 80 years of age. The old vines naturally give low yields, concentrating the grapes and contributing complexity.
Ageing
The wine rests for up to 18 months in French oak barrels, which contribute subtle woody notes alongside the fruit character. It then matures in bottle for at least six months, gaining depth and a velvety texture.
Tasting profile
The nose offers ripe dark berries with complex spice and chocolate notes. The palate is rich, textured, structured and refined, with soft tannins and balanced acidity.
