Cielo E Terra was founded in 1908. Its name combines terra, the Italian word for land, with Cielo, the founding family’s surname. Pietro Cielo began expanding and improving production in 1930, and new vineyards established in 1962 enabled further growth. The winery is now run by fourth-generation brothers Luca and Pierpaolo Cielo and owns approximately 300 ha of land. It belongs to Gruppo Cantine Colli Berici, which has around 4,000 ha of vineyards and produces most of the company’s wines.
