About this wine
Grapes
The blend is 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested during the first ten days of September and gently pressed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with 18–21 days of skin maceration.
Ageing
The wine matures for one year in a combination of new and previously used French oak barrels. It is then filtered and bottled, followed by several additional months of bottle ageing.
Serving and pairing
Recommended with refined red-meat or game dishes, and particularly with aged cheeses.
