Karmis 30 Experience brings almost 300 trade professionals to Cabras

Almost 300 restaurateurs, wine merchants, distributors and hospitality professionals attended the concluding Karmis anniversary event. Giulia Salis, Andrea Balleri and Roberto Dessanti led a discussion on the wine’s position in restaurants, retail and distribution.

Carlo Cracco prepared a mascarpone-mantecado risotto with confit tomato, lemon and mullet bottarga, supported by Tiziano Vacca of Terra Crua. The event followed the historical and cultural conference held on 12 June. The family revisited Karmis’s creation in 1996 as a fresh Vernaccia-and-Vermentino blend and its subsequent growth to about 900,000 bottles annually.
