About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grow on the hills of Santa Margherita, in volcanic soil.
Vinification
The grapes are hand-harvested at the end of September into 5 kg crates. At the winery, they dry for 30 days in a well-ventilated room. Fermentation lasts 30 days in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine ages for 18 months in oak barrels.
Label / history
Colle Alto was among the first wines made by Corte Moschina, in the province of Verona. It received a silver medal at the 2014 Shanghai International Wine Challenge.
