About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes grow on the hills of Verona, in clay-limestone soils.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented in stainless steel tanks, which preserves the clear character of the varieties. The wine then follows the traditional Ripasso method: a second fermentation on the pomace left from Amarone production, which adds aroma, depth and richness.

Ageing

The wine is aged for 12–18 months in oak barrels, which soften the texture and add spicy notes.

Tasting profile

Aromas of ripe dark berries and spice. The palate is full yet smooth, with generous fruit. Ripe fruit, structure and elegance are in balance.

Serving and pairing

Pairs with red meat, game, pasta with rich sauces and aged cheeses.
