About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie near Orvieto, in the oldest part of the Orvieto Classico production area, at an altitude of 320 m. They have favourable exposure and are frequently ventilated by winds, creating a distinctive microclimate. The soils are clay and marl, rich in fossilized seashells dating from the Miocene epoch. Only biological methods are used to care for the soil and vines.
