About this wine

Grapes

A blend of Trebbiano, Chardonnay, Traminer, Sauvignon Blanc and Malvasia.

Vinification

Each grape variety ferments separately in 2.5- and 4-hL Clayver ceramic vessels. Most of the fruit undergoes skin maceration, while a small portion is pressed directly as whole clusters.

Ageing

The wine matures on its full lees, with periodic bâtonnage carried out as required. Bottling takes place approximately 10–12 months after harvest.

Technical data

Production is approximately 1,000 bottles. The wine is usually made without added sulphites.

Tasting profile

In some vintages, Bianco di Santa Lucia can be described as an orange wine. Its colour accompanies a notably complex, fruit-driven character, evoking the warmth and energy of a sunny day.

Serving and pairing

Suitable as an aperitif or with strongly flavoured dishes, including fish and aged cheeses.

Vintage notes

The 2024 vintage received 92 points from The Wine Advocate.
