Vineyard and terroir
Cool, expansive soils support gradual, progressive ripening even during the hottest vintages. The wine’s character is also linked to rigorous vineyard practices.
Grapes
100% Merlot.
Vinification
The fruit is harvested at a relatively young stage to retain varietal purity, freshness and a lean profile while preserving substance. The wine then spends nine months in concrete tanks and/or terracotta amphorae.
Ageing
Nine months in concrete and/or terracotta are followed by six months in bottle.
Technical data
Average production is approximately 6,000 bottles.

Liù is conceived around a pure expression of Merlot, combining freshness and a slender profile with depth and substance.
