About this wine

Tasting profile

The 2010 Cuvée delle Vigne Niche has substantial depth, power and richness. It expands across the palate in multiple directions, revealing numerous layers of pure, precisely defined fruit. Smoke, white truffle and orange peel carry through a textured, exotic finish.

Serving and pairing

The 2010 showed at its best after four to six hours of aeration.

Vintage notes

The 2010 vintage received 93 points from Antonio Galloni in issue 205 of The Wine Advocate, published in February 2013. Its anticipated drinking window was 2013–2016. The 2010 wines were characterized as more ethereal than their 2009 counterparts, while the 2009s had greater mid-palate depth but somewhat less finesse.
