About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from estate vineyards in the Tuscan hills, farmed with an emphasis on organic and biodynamic principles.
Grapes
The Sangiovese and Merlot grapes are selected before vinification.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in open stainless-steel and cement vats, followed by 40–60 days of maceration.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for 18 months: 10% in new tonneaux and 90% in cement and stainless-steel vats.
