About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the commune of S. Pietro di Lavagno, at 106–150 metres above sea level. The plots face south and southeast and have limestone soils. The vines were planted in 1995.
Grapes
The Corvina component comprises Corvina Grossa and Corvina Gentile.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand into 15 kg crates and destemmed at the winery. Maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation take place over eight days.
Ageing
The wine ages for six months in stainless steel tanks.
