Un viaggio tra vino e paesaggi: in treno alle Cantine Duca di Salaparuta!

Duca di Salaparuta, the Comune di Casteldaccia and Città del Vino created an integrated rail and free-shuttle service for the period from 13 June to 31 August 2026. More than 40 regional trains per day connect Cefalù and Bagheria with Casteldaccia; a municipal shuttle carries booked visitors from the station to the winery in several time slots.

The route connects the coastal landscape with Bagheria’s Baroque villas, Santa Flavia and the Cantine di Casteldaccia. At the winery, the experience combines architecture, production history and permanent art, including Arrigo Musti’s Poliedrica.

The initiative presents collective rail travel as a lower-emission and safer option following tastings. Its broader purpose is to connect the winery with other cultural attractions, make wine tourism more accessible and return cultural attention to the Bagheria–Casteldaccia coastal area. The partners envisage the project as a replicable model in which mobility, landscape, art, productive memory and hospitality operate as a single system.
