About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in Sicily. The text refers to a subtle mineral note that reflects the terroir, but gives no details of site, soils or altitude.
Vinification
The grapes are selected with care and picked by hand at ideal ripeness. At the winery they are gently pressed, and the must is treated at a low temperature to preserve as much fruit character and freshness as possible. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a carefully controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine spends a short time in the same stainless steel tanks after fermentation. This develops a harmonious structure while keeping its freshness.
Tasting profile
Expressive and lively, with the character of the Grillo grape. The taste is balanced, with bright acidity and a subtle mineral note.
Serving and pairing
Suited to fish dishes and seafood.
