About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Chardonnay and Catarratto are grown in Agro di Trapani.
Grapes
The blend comprises equal parts Chardonnay and Catarratto.
Vinification
The Chardonnay is harvested by hand in the second third of August, followed by the Catarratto in the second third of September. Traditional fermentation lasts 20 days at a constant 14–16 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures for four months in new French oak barrels and then rests for a further four months in bottle.
Label / history
Annual production is 110,000 bottles.
