The component varieties are specially selected for the blend.

The grapes are harvested by hand at the end of September. Each variety is fermented separately in stainless-steel tanks.

Label / history
Francesco Folonari founded the company in 1825 in Valcamonica, in the Veneto region. In the mid-19th century, the family moved to Brescia at the foot of the Alps. The company both produced and bottled wine, an unusual practice during the second half of that century. Its original aim was to make good-quality, affordable wines for everyday drinking, a philosophy it continues to follow.
