About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the commune of La Morra at an altitude of 450 metres, on sandy-clay soils containing limestone and gypsum.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness, then fermented and macerated on the skins in wooden vats for 18 days.
Ageing
The wine matures for 10 months in Austrian oak barrels, followed by 12 months in bottle.
