About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the San Cristoforo, Straderi, Currà and Albesani vineyards, whose soils consist of limestone with some clay and sand.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks for 25–30 days at 27–28 °C, followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures for 15 months in French oak barrels, followed by a further 7–8 months in bottle.
