From the heart of Chianti Classico comes I Terzieri

The Piccini family unveiled Terziere di Tramontano, Terziere di Levante and Terziere di Ponente for Geografico’s sixtieth anniversary. The three wines correspond respectively to Radda, Gaiole and Castellina, the communes historically organised as the Terzieri of the Lega del Chianti.

The project followed the renewal begun with the Piccini family’s 2018 acquisition. Its aim was to strengthen the connection between Geografico and the original Chianti Classico heartland by showing three distinct expressions of Sangiovese. The three origins are interpreted through microvinification and non-invasive practices while retaining the individual traits of their vineyards.
