About this wine
Grapes
The blend comprises 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot. Merlot defines the wine's character, while the smaller Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot components contribute freshness and elegance.
Ageing
Matured for 12 months in 225 L barriques, of which 30% are new.
Technical data
Toscana IGT. Alcohol: 14% vol. Available in 0.75 L and 1.5 L bottles.
Tasting profile
Deep ruby in colour. The bouquet combines delicate dark-berry fragrances with liquorice and tobacco. The palate is fresh and approachable while retaining complexity and an intense tannic structure.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 18°C. Pair with first courses, grilled red meats or aged cheeses.
