Tasting profile
Dark ruby with garnet reflections. The expressive bouquet combines ripe blackberry and fig with blueberry and sweet elderberry, followed by vanilla, gingerbread, dark chocolate and restrained oak. The palate is well structured, with mature yet firm tannins and refreshing acidity. An elegant, persistent finish carries dark-chocolate and delicate spice notes into the aftertaste.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 18–20°C. Pair with lasagne, pasta dressed with ragù, lamb or steak.
