About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes grow in limestone soils in south-eastern Tuscany at 300 metres above sea level. The vines average 25 years of age.

Vinification

Harvest takes place from late September to early October. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks, with 12 days of maceration, followed by malolactic fermentation, which converts malic acid into softer, less acidic lactic acid.

Tasting profile

Malolactic fermentation gives the wine a broader flavour profile and a notably pleasant softness.
