About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Ca' Ronesca estate lies in Collio on the Italian-Slovenian border, with around 60 ha of vineyards surrounded by almost 60 ha of woodland. Some 37 ha are in Dolegna del Collio, while another 20 ha encircle the Ipplis hill, providing a 360-degree range of aspects. The vineyards occupy steep and gentle east-facing slopes among centuries-old cypress trees, chestnut, oak, acacia and juniper.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18 °C.
Ageing
The wine remains in stainless-steel tanks until at least the spring following the harvest.
