The wine matures in oak barriques for 12–14 months.

Tasting profile

An unusually powerful Merlot for the region.

Label / history

The Niedrist winery was officially established in 1870. Ignaz Niedrist inherited the family vineyards and began bottling and selling the estate’s wines in 1989. Annual production totals 25,000–30,000 bottles.
