About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The estate is in Chianti, Tuscany, and covers around 25 hectares. Its vineyards are cultivated using a modern vine-selection system.

Vinification

The Sangiovese and Merlot are harvested by hand and sorted again at the winery. Fermentation takes place partly in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks and partly in open oak barrels. The winery uses computerised systems and modern grape-processing equipment.

Ageing

The wine matures for around 18 months in a combination of new and older French oak barrels.
