Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards occupy steep hillsides above Lucarelli, near Panzano.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at the end of September and macerated for 20 days at 28–30 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures in stainless-steel tanks, preserving fresh aromas and bright fruit flavours.

Label / history
Frank Grace rediscovered the neglected Volano vineyards near Panzano and revived them with Gerhard Hirmer. Working with winemaker Franco Bernabei, they established production at a modern winery. The winery takes its name from the Grace family and the 19th-century windmill on the estate. A sculpture outside the cellars depicts two men carrying a grapevine; the same image appears on Il Molino di Grace labels.
