The fruit is organically grown without fertilizers.
Vinification
Fermentation lasts 20 days in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats at 28–30 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures for 16 months in French oak barrels, with restrained use of oak.

Elegant and complex, with a rich, vibrant aroma and a fine balance between sweetness and tannins.
Label / history
The winery takes its name from the Grace family and the 19th-century windmill on the estate. The mill features in a sculpture of two men carrying a grapevine outside the cellar and is depicted on the wine labels.
American businessman Frank Grace rediscovered the neglected Volano vineyards near Panzano. With German banker Gerhard Hirmer, he restored the vineyards and built a modern winery within five years. Oenologist Franco Bernabei organized the winemaking process.
