About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie in Monteforte d’Alpone and Soave, on basalt soils that contribute clear mineral notes. They are farmed according to organic principles, without inorganic fertilizers.
Vinification
The grapes are hand-picked at full ripeness, destemmed and processed using a non-reductive method without added SO₂. Maceration lasts 1–8 hours, allowing local microflora to develop in the must. After 24 hours of static settling, alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16–18 °C.
Ageing
The wine rests on its fine lees for several months before bottling.
Tasting profile
Elegant, fresh and well balanced, with almond and citrus aromas and clear mineral notes.
Label / history
The simple label bears a frieze reproduced from a book of neoclassical designs, with lettering styled after the XVII century.
