Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from high-altitude sites with a cool microclimate, which contributes lively acidity and a distinct mineral character.
Vinification
For the 2022 vintage, fermentation took place in oak barrels. The proportion of new oak was reduced slightly to give greater prominence to the fruit and finesse.
Ageing
The wine remained on its lees for 12 months, with regular stirring during the first six months. Following barrel ageing, it matured in bottle for several months.
Tasting profile
The 2022 retains a classic Burgundian style with modern touches. It combines freshness, lively acidity and mineral character with a velvety texture, complex bouquet, depth, harmony, structure and elegance.
