125 years of Kellerei Kaltern – A story of community

The anniversary review connects Cantina Kaltern’s institutional history to the life of the village. Five independent wineries passed through foundations, crises, growth and mergers before the decisive 2016 union of Erste+Neue and Kellerei Kaltern.

The resulting cooperative brings together approximately 530 members and 420 ha. Its anniversary was framed as a commitment to origin, community, sustainable structures, professionalism and quality from vineyard to bottle, as well as to wine’s cultural and emotional role in Caldaro.
