A mild winter was followed by unusually heavy March rain—nearly three times the long-term average—although budbreak still began by the end of the month. April opened above 20 °C before a mid-month cold spell. Rain continued through May, bringing the spring total to almost 510 l/m², including 180 l/m² in May. Growth slowed slightly, and Chardonnay began flowering around 22 May in the earliest lakeside sites.

Rain continued into June. Stable conditions arrived in the second half of July, and the first heatwave coincided with veraison. Warm, settled August weather favored aroma development. Harvest began during a sunny first week of September with Pinot Grigio and sparkling-base parcels, but rain and cooler temperatures soon returned.

Growers used dry windows to harvest at suitable ripeness. Late-ripening reds were particularly challenging, and some parcels were picked earlier than planned. The cellar closed for the season on 15 October. The crop was smaller than in previous years, but careful vineyard and cellar work supported positive expectations.
