About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyard faces the sea. Its clay-and-chalk soil contains abundant fossilized shell material. Horses are used for all vineyard work, and the vines are cultivated according to biodynamic and permaculture methods.
Vinification
Fermentation is spontaneous and proceeds without temperature control. The wine is bottled without fining, filtration or stabilization.
Ageing
The wine matures for 12 months in oak barrels.
Tasting profile
Expressively aromatic, the wine combines power with elegance. It is mature, velvety and refined.
