About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown on clay soils in the municipality of Narni, in southern Umbria, at 180 m above sea level.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in the second half of September at optimal ripeness. Traditional red-wine vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks under the supervision of Riccardo Cotarella.
Ageing
The wine matures for 16 months in oak barriques, followed by 8 months in bottle.
