About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Glera is grown in Veneto, within the Treviso DOC zone. Yields reach 15,000 kg/ha.
Vinification
Harvest takes place from 10 to 20 September, while acidity remains high and the aromas are still delicate. The grapes are gently pressed, then fermented with selected yeasts in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Secondary fermentation takes place in autoclaves using the Martinotti–Charmat method and lasts 10–20 days.
Ageing
The wine ages for 1–2 months.
Tasting profile
Fresh, lively and elegant, with bright fruit, a clean taste and fine, persistent bubbles. The texture is smooth and silky, with softness and roundness without an overtly sweet impression.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif.
Label / history
The wine belongs to Le Bollicine, Lamborghini’s collection of sparkling wines. Lamborghini was founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini in the 1960s after he left the automotive business and returned to agriculture. His daughter, Patrizia Lamborghini, has managed the estate since the 1990s, and the winery works with oenologist Riccardo Cotarella.
