About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from Tenuta Lamborghini’s own vineyards. The La Fiorita estate is located on the border of Umbria and Tuscany, between the southern shore of Lake Trasimeno and Panicale. It covers about 100 hectares, of which 32 hectares are planted with vines. The soils are clay-limestone, and the mild climate combines warm summers with cool nights, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly.
Vinification
The wine is made by the Charmat method. Secondary fermentation takes place under pressure in sealed autoclaves.
Ageing
It rests on the lees for several months.
Tasting profile
Refreshing and refined, with delicate fruit and floral aromas. The palate is balanced and smooth, with a delicate texture and persistent perlage.
Label / history
Ottagonale belongs to a collection of sparkling wines presented in Lamborghini’s signature eight-sided bottles. This Gold Label edition has gold lettering and an elegant bottle design. The collection’s visual identity combines understated luxury, clean lines and close attention to detail.
Ferruccio Lamborghini founded the estate in the 1960s after leaving the automotive business and returning to his agricultural roots. His daughter, Patrizia Lamborghini, has managed it since the 1990s. The winery works with oenologist Riccardo Cotarella.
