About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vines are trained using the spurred-cordon system at a density of 7,000 vines per hectare on volcanic soil. Harvest is carried out manually in late September.
Grapes
100% Sangiovese Grosso della Maremma.
Vinification
The grapes undergo gentle cold crushing, followed by fermentation in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
Three months in stainless-steel tanks.
Technical data
Alcohol: 12.5%.
Tasting profile
Fresh and savoury, with a floral character and notes of pink cherries and citrus peel. Lively acidity leads into a citrus-toned finish.
