About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie along the Isonzo River, on rich, fertile soils. The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness.
Vinification
After destemming, the grapes ferment at a controlled temperature of 28 °C, with the cap submerged daily.
Ageing
The wine rests for one month in steel tanks, followed by eight months in Slavonian oak barrels.
