About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The 2024 wine comes from estate vineyards in Maipú and Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, at elevations of 800–1,000 metres. The vines average 40 years of age.

Grapes

100% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested manually, with cluster selection and destemming at the winery. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature of 24–28°C. The finished wine is gently filtered before bottling.

Ageing

Aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.

Technical data

The 2024 vintage has 13.3% alcohol, pH 3.6, total acidity of 5.33 and residual sugar of 2.9.

Tasting profile

Deep, bright red. The 2024 profile combines black fruit, including cassis, with spice. Its entry is sweet-toned and silky, followed by good body and structure. The finish is long and deep, with well-defined tannins indicating good ageing potential. The broader house description also evokes pepper and leather, a compact structure, fine yet firm tannins and subtle smoky nuances from barrel ageing.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 16–18°C. Pair with strongly flavoured game, including herb-marinated venison or wild boar accompanied by roasted vegetables.
