About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The 2025 fruit comes from estate vineyards in the Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. The vineyards lie between 900 and 1,100 metres, and the vines average 35 years of age. The combination of these two origins has defined the wine’s broader Mendoza expression in recent years.

Grapes

100% Malbec.

Vinification

The grapes are picked by hand, after which the bunches are selected and destemmed. Pre-fermentation cold maceration takes place at 8°C. Fermentation follows in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled 24–28°C with selected yeasts. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is transferred to French oak barrels. It is gently filtered before bottling.

Ageing

Twelve months in French oak barrels.

Tasting profile

Bright violet-red. Fresh, vivid aromas recall strawberry and cherry, with a subtle thyme-like spicy accent. The palate is expressive and generous in volume, with pronounced fruit and fully integrated oak. Its finish is deep, long and clean.

The house style combines a defined fruit profile, a gently sweet impression on the palate and the variety’s characteristic roundness. The main description also highlights floral and spicy tones, sweet tannins, a firm body and an open, fluid texture.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 16–18°C. Pair with grilled red meats, such as skirt steak with mashed potatoes or ribeye with rustic potatoes and rosemary.
